Dive Site Introduction

Yap is world best Manta Ray diving site and world's only Manta Ray sanctuary! You don't need to be lucky to see Manta Ray here, because Yap is the only place that you can see Manta Ray all the time! Over 100 Manta Rays live year round in the waters surrounding Yap. Winter is Manta mating season, you can see more Manta Ray!! In Manta Cleaning Station, you can also dive in a shallow water to watch and taking photo with them! The Manta Ray living here have their own name, if you find a new “resident”, you can name it by yourself!

Not only Manta Ray, Yap is also famous in shark diving, every dive sites here also can easily witness black and white-tip sharks, grey shark or others type of sharks! Meanwhile, eagle ray, schooling barracudas, turtles, cuttlefish and others small creatures also can be found here! Also you can see Mandarine Fish all the time in Yap!

How To Get There?

From Hong Kong to Guam around 5 hours, and stay one night there, and transfer flight to Yap the day after.

Manta Ray Dive Resort is the best dive resort in Yap, it offers 35 luxury rooms featuring unique marine themes, many with private balconies and waterfront views. And you can dine and drink onboard their 18th-century South Seas sailing schooner, the S/V Mnuw which permanently docked at the hotel. Resort also provide spa, for you to relax after diving. Standard

Each unique Standard Room is well appointed in tropical style and features either one or two queen-sized beds. The standard rooms are on the opposite side of the resort with views of the hills and beyond.

Ocean View

Each individually themed Ocean View Room features a breathtaking view of the lagoon. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise reflecting off of the still waters. Ocean View Rooms are well appointed in tropical style and features either one or two queen-sized beds. Some rooms even have water beds!

Deluxe Ocean

The Deluxe Ocean View rooms are our finest rooms. These rooms feature stunning ocean-views, king sized beds, private patios and unique interior features. Some of these rooms have private plunge pools, or fantastic stone showers or even a private rooftop Jacuzzi! They are all unique and equally elegant.
